This is a new and strategic role at Comp.

As a Forward Deployed Client Partner, you'll be part of the first group responsible for redefining how we grow within our clients. You'll work side by side with Compensation Executives and AI Engineers to make Comp truly embedded in the companies we serve — and turn that presence into expansion.

Your goal is clear: drive Net Dollar Retention (NDR) by ensuring every delivery creates visible impact, strengthens trust, and opens new avenues for collaboration.

You'll work closely with Comp's founding team, helping shape how Comp connects with and grows alongside clients at scale — setting the standard for what a world-class partnership looks like.

What you'll do

Drive Comp's embedded presence within clients: partner with Compensation Executives and AI Engineers to design and implement solutions, observe how they perform in the field, and use those learnings to deepen Comp's impact.

Architect the client journey: from first deployment to expansion — leading strategic conversations with C-level stakeholders to define where Comp should go deeper and how to broaden its impact.

Influence product direction: translating direct field learnings into the roadmap, helping shape the next generation of Comp's technology and consulting models.

Act like a founder: build playbooks, rituals, and metrics that will define how Comp scales partnership excellence globally.

Desired profile

Smart and ambitious professional with 4–7 years of experience in consulting, banking, high-growth startups, or other high-performance environments.
Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset — proactive, creative, and able to create structure where none exists, with a track record of driving measurable results and influencing senior executives.
Exceptional communication — comfortable leading executive-level conversations.
Enjoys dynamic, high-growth environments and is motivated by owning outcomes.
Excited to help build a new function at Comp and define what a truly world-class forward-deployed partnership looks like.

Compensation

P75 of market Total Cash compensation (based on candidate seniority) + the opportunity to earn very significant equity in Comp and become a partner over time.
